91大神鈥檚 first medical students at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in Blacksburg, Virginia 鈥 Nathaniel 鈥淣ate鈥 and Margaret 鈥淢aggie鈥 Yoder, both 鈥08 鈥 鈥渁re having a tremendous and challenging experience in a medical school that feels like a continuation of the 91大神 ethic of service and care for the less fortunate,鈥 reported Elwood Yoder 鈥81 after visiting them at VCOM. Elwood and his wife, Joy 鈥81, are the parents of Nate. They timed their visit to coincide with a mid-November 2010 ceremony marking the young couple鈥檚 transition to being white-coated health-care providers (though still in training, of course). Earlier, VCOM sent Nate and Maggie to the Global Missions Health Conference in Louisville, Kentucky.
