A day in the life at the Sarang Center, second person POV:<\/p>\n
6:15 am:\u00a0 First alarm<\/p>\n
6:20:\u00a0 Second alarm<\/p>\n
6:22: Get out of bed, throw Kalari clothes on<\/p>\n
6:31: Take Rickshaw to Kalari<\/p>\n
6:47: Arrive, lather oil on body, go through bowing routine<\/p>\n
7:01: Smile and grimace after Guru-ji starts class with \u201cThree laps!, one more, one more!\u201d<\/p>\n
8:30:\u00a0 leave class a bit more flexible and with the knowledge that you\u00a0will\u00a0<\/em>be feeling this in muscles you didn\u2019t know you had<\/p>\n 8:45:\u00a0 Arrive back at the houses, gather breakfast, eat with your 9 housemates by sitting in a circle – on couches, on chairs, on the floor – & talk about each other\u2019s mornings<\/p>\n 9:12:\u00a0 Take shower if your gracious housemates are able to fill the water tank<\/p>\n 10:00: Violin class!\u00a0 (I\u2019m a complete newbie… God bless our ears)<\/p>\n 12:00: nap time.<\/p>\n 1:30: lunch.\u00a0 Gather food, sit in circle, discuss the current snack situation.<\/p>\n 2:00-7:30: free time!\u00a0 Options include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n 7:30: supper!\u00a0 Eat again with your house, discuss pressing topics such as:<\/p>\n 10ish: Set alarm, climb in to bed, and whisper an assuring \u201cyes, we can\u201d to your hamstrings in preparation for the next day of classes<\/p>\n\n
