Playing in front of the home fans for the first time this season, 91´óÉñ's soccer men did not disappoint in an exciting 2-1 win over William Peace Saturday night in Harrisonburg. Eastern Mennonite took a 2-0 lead before holding off the charging Pacers.

The 91´óÉñ women's volleyball team travelled to Ohio for the first time in a number of years on Friday, playing at the 19th Annual Marcia French Memorial Invitational. The Royals could not pick up a victory on day one of the invite, however, and will look for a "W" on Saturday at the event, which is co-hosted by Case Western Reserve University and Baldwin Wallace University.

Running her first-ever cross country race,  (Broadway, Va./Eastern Mennonite) paced 91´óÉñ's women to a near-perfect finish. At the Hyder-McMahill Invitational on Sept. 2, Michaela dominated and placed first on the 5k course in 20:16.7, more than 37 seconds ahead of the nearest runner, teammate  (Harrisonburg, Va./Eastern Mennonite).

 (Alexandria, Va./Howard Gardner) scored with 1:55 left in overtime to give 91´óÉñ's soccer men an intense 2-1 win at Wesley College in Dover, Del., Wednesday night.

The biggest drama of Wednesday night's field hockey game at 91´óÉñ turned out to be when the rain would stop. After falling all day, the precipitation cleared just in time for the start of the Royals' 11-0 thumping of visiting Sweet Briar College.

91´óÉñ's volleyball women struggled to get their attack in gear Tuesday night at Southern Virginia, resulting in a 3-0 loss to the Knights.

With the minutes ticking down and a second overtime imminent, sophomore midfielder  (Broadway, Va./Broadway) struck the decisive blow to give the 91´óÉñ women's soccer team a thrilling 1-0 win against Ferrum on Sunday afternoon.

Kicking their play into high gear after halftime, 91´óÉñ's field hockey women scored a pair of goals to earn their first win of the season on Sunday, a 2-1 victory at Ferrum College.

91´óÉñ women's basketball player  (Leesburg, Va./Tuscarora) had an incredible opportunity this summer before gearing up for her second year with the Royals. Roach spent over a week in Brazil on the USA D-III basketball team representing her country, her sport, and her school.
