91´óÉñ softball suffered a disappointing doubleheader loss to visiting McDaniel College Thursday afternoon. The Royals drop to 21-11 overall with their first non-conference losses of the season. Eastern Mennonite heads to Roanoke College on Saturday for their final ODAC games of the season. The Royals are 9-9 in the conference, while Roanoke is 9-7 with a doubleheader remaining against No. 20 Randolph-Macon.

91´óÉñ's volleyball men got defensive and it worked. The Royals racked up 20 blocks, including 16 over the final three sets, as they shocked top-seeded Marymount University in a 3-2 come-from-behind win in the CVC Tournament semifinals. Eastern Mennonite advances to Saturday's championship, playing at 6:00pm against either Juniata or Stevenson.

A third straight offensive outburst powered 91´óÉñ's baseball men to a 14-6 win over Hood College Wednesday afternoon in Harrisonburg. Eastern Mennonite (15-15) tied their season high with 21 hits, including seven doubles. Since breaking an eight-game skid with a 10-5 win over Bridgewater last Wednesday, the Royals have won five of six games, scoring nine or more runs in each win.

In a wild game, 91´óÉñ's baseball team plated four runs in the 10th inning to grab a 12-8 win at USA South power Ferrum College. The Royals needed a run in the ninth to force an extra frame, where they grabbed the momentum to improve to 13-15 on the year.

Despite a CVC loss at Stevenson on Saturday, 91´óÉñ's volleyball men finished the regular season on a winning note as they head into their first-ever CVC Tournament. The Royals took a 3-1 win over Penn State-Altoona to wrap up Saturday's tri-match in Owings Mills, Md., pushing their record to 21-10.

The Royals ran Saturday at the Liberty Collegiate Invitational in Lynchburg, which provided the men and women a good mix of D-I and D-II scholarship athletes as well as ODAC rivals they would see again.
