While it may not have been as fulfilling as a walk-off hit, the Royals won a wild 16-15 game Saturday afternoon on a walk-off walk. Eastern Mennonite earned a two-day sweep of visiting Penn State-Harrisburg with the decision and stand at 5-2 after the completion of their season-opening homestand.

The season came to an abrupt end for 91´óÉñ's basketball women Friday afternoon, as the Royals couldn't overcome cold shooting in a 71-58 loss to Randolph-Macon in the ODAC Tournament quarterfinals.
The Runnin Royals nearly erased a deflating final minutes, but a good-looking halfcourt shot from (Frederick, Md./St. Maria Goretti) rimmed out at the buzzer, leaving 91´óÉñ with a heart-wrenching 70-69 loss at Washington and Lee in the ODAC Tournament First Round Monday night.
