91´óÉñ's volleyball women snapped an eight-match losing skid, finally picking up their 10th win of the season in a 3-1 decision over Ursinus Saturday afternoon in Carlisle, Pa. The Royals also dropped a 3-0 decision to host Dickinson University, leaving their record at 10-17 after the day.

91´óÉñ's soccer men are hitting their stride at just the right time. Freshman (Alexandria, Va./Mount Vernon) scored the game-winner with just 6:03 left, as the Royals upset Randolph-Macon 3-2 in Ashland, Va., Saturday afternoon. Eastern Mennonite improves to 7-7-4 overall and 2-3-2 in the ODAC with their second straight win over a team ahead of them in the conference standings. The Yellow Jackets (9-3-2 / 5-2 ODAC) entered the day tied for first in the league

A first-half goal was enough, as 91´óÉñ's soccer women picked up a key 1-0 ODAC win against Guilford Saturday in Harrisonburg. The Royals move into a tie with GC for ninth in the league standings at 3-5.

In Coach E.A. Jackson's second season, success continues to be about building foundations, and Wednesday's contest against Bridgewater showed a team with grit and resiliency that Jackson expects to define her program.

91´óÉñ's volleyball women came home from Randolph College Thursday night with a disappointing 3-1 loss, eliminating them from contention for a postseason tourney bid. The Royals (9-16 / 2-8 ODAC) won the first set before dropping three straight.

Playing on the par-72, Williamsburg Golf Club course, Eastern Mennonite had brothers (Faber, Va./Nelson County) and (Faber, Va./Nelson County) each shoot a 77 or better on the first day, as the team was tied for eighth out of 14 squads at the tourney. A couple of individuals struggled on day two, triggering a fall in the team position, leaving 91´óÉñ in 13th with a two-day total of 664 (+88). The Royals had shot a 322 (+34) on Monday.

A second-half eruption gave 91´óÉñ's field hockey women control in a 6-2 win over Transylvania University on Monday, snapping a three-game losing skid. The Royals (5-7) trailed 1-0 at halftime before rallying for the huge second half.

Junior keeper (Mount Crawford, Va./Turner Ashby) has been stabilizing the defensive effort from his position in front of the net and leading a large group of young players.
