91´óÉñ's golf men ended on a positive note, breaking a program record on the first day of the Tom Kinder Memorial at Lakeview Golf Course in Harrisonburg. The Royals picked up where they left off last year when they toppled the overall low round three different times.

Now a year removed from the season during which they broke the program low round record three different times, 91´óÉñ's golf men are ready for 2016-17 with four of their top five golfers back in the fold. (Telford, Pa./Christopher Dock) is the lone women's team golfer.

91´óÉñ's field hockey women had a balanced effort in a thorough 6-0 romp over Bryn Mawr College Saturday afternoon in Chambersburg, Pa. Combined with Friday's 3-0 decision against host Wilson, Eastern Mennonite won the 2016 Wilson College Invitational.

The 2-1 win over Ferrum on Sunday gave the field hockey women their first opening weekend win since 2011.

After notching their best finish in 12 years, Coach Carrie Bert is looking to continue the momentum in rebuilding the 91´óÉñ women's volleyball program.

The Royals were tabbed for eighth in the ODAC Preseason Poll, corresponding with their league standing last fall.
