91´óÉñ sophomore  (Telford, Pa./Dock Mennonite Academy) shot two of her best collegiate rounds this weekend at the Bridgewater Invitational. Taking 10 strokes off her scores from a tournament the previous weekend, Longacre finished tied for 20th out of 54 women.

Just when they were grabbing momentum, they lost it. 91´óÉñ's field hockey women tied their road game at Randolph-Macon on Sunday with a goal early in the second half, only to give up a goal less than a minute later. That turned out to be the final tally in a 2-1 loss to the Yellow Jackets.
Despite scoring first, the 91´óÉñ soccer men's six-game winning streak came to an abrupt end Saturday afternoon in a 4-2 loss at Randolph College in Lynchburg. It was the ODAC opener for both teams.
91´óÉñ's women continue to learn and improve. Starting mostly freshmen and sophomores, the Royals stymied Roanoke College (4-3-1/1-0 ODAC) on their home turf and nearly stole a point in the league standings before a goal late in double overtime dropped Eastern Mennonite in a 1-0 loss. The women fall to 2-4-2 overall with the defeat in their first ODAC game of the season.
Linda Witmer, 91´óÉñ at Lancaster's director of the RN to BS in Nursing program, and site coordinator Nancy Wise jointly pen a letter to support the nursing profession's move beyond beyond task-oriented competencies.
91´óÉñ's volleyball women have had a tough slate of opponents to open the 2017 season. Thursday night in Harrisonburg it was ODAC preseason favorite Randolph-Macon. The Royals played well at times, pushing R-MC in the second set especially, before eventually dropping a 3-0 decision.
An afternoon in the Valley brought a tough outing for the 91´óÉñ Royals on Wednesday, as they would surrender three goals and be held scoreless at Bridgewater College.
Utilizing healthy doses of their bench, the Royals had no problem in blowing past host Gallaudet University Wednesday night, picking up a 5-1 win in Washington, DC. Eastern Mennonite's soccer men improve to 6-1 with their sixth straight win as they wrap up non-conference play.
91´óÉñ's golf men participated in the Shenandoah Invitational on Sunday and Monday at the Winchester Country Club in Winchester. For the first time this year, the Royals put a full team on the course and they came home with consistent cards.
It was a successful start to the 2017-18 campaign for Eastern Mennonite's  (Telford, Pa./Dock Mennonite Academy). The golfer shot two strokes below last year's average at the Shenandoah Invitational this weekend, finishing in the top half of the field.
