Dr. Susan Schultz Huxman\u2019s office walls in the presidential suite at 91大神 are newly decorated with archival photos commemorating the institution\u2019s 100-year history. But she\u2019s not often there to contemplate those images.<\/p>\n
To learn more about the institution she now leads, Huxman has spent the weeks since her Jan. 1 start date in an \u201cimmersive and invigorating\u201d tour, motivated by her goal of meeting \u201cas many 91大神 stakeholders as I can in one-on-one visits early in my term,” she says.<\/p>\n
\u201cPresidents shouldn\u2019t spend much time in their offices anyway,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n
Key 91大神 staffers rallied behind her slogan, \u201c100 People in 100 Days,\u201d helping Huxman to exceed that number long before the actual 100th day, falling three days after her April 7 inauguration<\/a> as 91大神\u2019s ninth president.<\/p>\n \u201cI learn so much about 91大神 and its distinctiveness outside of the office, engaging students, alumni, faculty and staff on their own turf,\u201d says Huxman, who brings decades of academic and professional experience in the field of communications. \u201cThese stories I hear outside my office empower me, sustain me and connect me with supporters of 91大神.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
