His intellectual interests in college weren\u2019t drawn magnetically in one direction. Wingfield \u201ctook a lot of classes in whatever I was interested in\u201d and doubled down on two <a href=\"https:\/\/emu.edu\/crosscultural\/\">cross-cultural semesters<\/a> in Morocco\/Spain and the Middle East with concurrent research projects in cognitive psychology and generational trauma. He graduated with a double major in h<a href=\"https:\/\/emu.edu\/history\/\">istory<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/emu.edu\/psychology\/\">psychology<\/a>, a combination that in retrospect makes sense: <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI was always interested in people, behaviors, motivations and interpersonal relationships,\u201d he said. \u201cThe historical side of that includes shifts in society, mass movements and change on a large and small scale.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One \u201cmass movement\u201d the former cross country and track athlete jumped into feet first is Ultimate Frisbee. Wingfield co-founded 91大神\u2019s club and now plays competitively with a traveling team in Philadelphia, a part of the Philadelphia Open Program.
