91大神 hosted the third Athletics Fireside Gathering of the year, and while it gave Royals fans an inside look into 91大神 Athletics, most of the hour-long session was spent talking with former Major League Baseball player Erik Kratz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kratz, a 2002 alumnus of Eastern Mennonite and a member of 91大神\u2019s Hall of Honor<\/a>, retired this offseason after 19 years in professional baseball, including 11 seasons in the Major Leagues. Kratz was also a member of Team USA, playing in the Premier 12 tournament and being named to the All-World Baseball Team in 2019. He was 91大神\u2019s Alumnus of the Year that same year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As part of the time, Kratz answered an assortment of questions from where he learned to throw a knuckleball to his favorite home plate collision. He also talked about how his 91大神 education prepared him for his life after college.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOne of the core principles of 91大神 is community,\u201d Kratz said. \u201c\u2018Lead Together.\u2019 It doesn\u2019t say \u2018Lead By Yourself.\u2019 It says \u2018Lead Together.\u2019 And teams are looking for that community. So, for four years I went to 91大神 and learned what building community was. \u2026 Those are all traits I learned at 91大神 without taking a class called \u2018Community 101\u2019. It was things that were taught to me the whole time I was there.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
