Attache, Syria Foreign Service
Since graduation, I have worked for the Syrian ministry of foreign affairs as a Media and political analyst. In October of 2009 I have been posted to Beijing, China, in the Syrian Embassy. This is my first post as an attache.
I am also a published author. My first book in 1999, my second book in 2000, and in 2006. I also co-authored , the proceeds of which go to cancer research. My poetry is also included in different anthologies such as βA Treasury of American Poetry IIβ published by the League of American Poets, 2006.
Having grown up in the Middle East, an area torn apart by war and violence, I often focus my intense feelings on the terrors of war and the struggle for peace.
